(note: Vet schools are unable to fulfill the demand for veterinary practitioners, yet the AVMA and many state veterinary boards, including Maryland's, are STILL insisting that veterinarians provide virtually ALL animal health care, including complementary & alternative therapies -- whether overworked veterinarians want to or not. It is time for the AVMA and the state vet boards to wake up and stop monopolizing animal health care. Our animals deserve better treatment and as owners we should have the right to CHOOSE what concurrent complementary & alternative care our animals receive).
